Amherst Island Owl Workshop a Big Success
My Owl Workshop on Amherst Island on March 22-24 was a big success.
Although the Snowy Owls were not as cooperative as in years past, we had Barred, Boreal, and Northern Saw-whets that were very photographable. We also had nice weather and a great group of guys.
The Lodge on Amherst Island was a perfect place to spend our down time and the company and converstation was livley and stimulation. My thanks to Victoria and Molly for making us feel at home.
We were also able to make it over to Presqu'ile Provincial Park where we found Barred Owls in abundance. There were also Red-tailed Hawks there. We had a dark morph Rough-legged Hawk on Amherst.
