Cal Vornberger - Student Work

Cal Vornberger is now available for tutoring in a wide range of subjects. Having completed my final week at Katharine Gibbs New York (the school is closing) my loss is your gain.

At Gibbs I taught Web design, 3D Modeling and Animation, Motion Graphics, and a wide range of other subjects. Katherine Gibbs will cease to exist by the end of 2009 and I am looking for a new teaching position. I designed this site in Joomla to showcase my students work.

Student Work

Active Image The work showcased on this site was created by my students at Katharine Gibbs New York. Using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects, Combustion, 3D Studio Max, osCommerce, Joomla, and Dreamweaver my students have created some interesting and insightful work.

Visit the Student Gallery for examples of photography, 3D, and other design work. The "Motion Graphics " section contains work done in Flash, After Effects, and Combustion while the "Student Sites" section features Web sites designed and constructed by my students using Joomla, osCommerce, Flash, and CSS/HTML.

You can see the types of classes I teach in the "Courses" section and read feedback from the "Rate Your Professor" forums on MySpace in the "Reviews " area.

Most of my own Web work is done in the LAMP environment and I focus on these tools in my Web courses at Katharine Gibbs. I teach e-commerce using osCommerce and advanced Web development using Joomla. I also teach CSS and tableless Web development as a foundation for more advanced topics.

Students receive a digital camera during their second semester at Gibbs and I teach the digital photography classes that help them become technically proficient and artistically engaged photographers. The work from this class can be seen in the "Student Gallery."
